Press Release

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Marketing Agreement formalized between Bokö Services Group and A.W. Stähli AG.

Joint marketing effort in US brings strengths of two companies together.

Rockford, Illinois:  Bokö Services Group, Inc., formerly Bokö USA, Inc., the North American Sales and Service office for Bohner & Koehle Maschinenfabrik GmbH, Esslingen, Germany, has finalized an agreement with A.W. Stähli AG., the purchaser of Bokö's line of lapping and fine grinding machines. This agreement has the potential to create a new sales and marketing effort for Bokö's new line of lapping and fine grinding machines. Mr. Jon Olson, President of Bokö Services Group, Inc. says, "We expect this agreement to bring together the expertise in lapping and fine grinding Stähli has demonstrated in the markets that we wish to enter with the Stähli and Duomat fine lines of quality machines. Stähli will provide the application engineering expertise and the machine demonstration capability we need to address the specific technical requirements of a potential sales opportunity." Stähli has developed the successful use of super abrasives for fine grinding carbides, ceramics, glass and crystal substrate materials. The Duomat product line has been very successful in machining cast iron and steel parts for the bearing and hydraulic industries.

Bokö acquired the engineering and marketing rights for the Hahn & Kolb line of Duomat Lapping and Fine Grinding machines after Hahn & Kolb closed in October of 1993 in Germany. Bokö has since sold the line to A.W. Stähli AG. of Pieterlen, Switzerland in 1996 as it was seen to be out of the core product technology of multi-axis milling machines Bokö has provided to the marketplace since 1928.
