New Bokö VH2/10-NC / VH2/10-K 5-Sided Milling Machine

Bokö's Product Development continues with a smaller version of the highly accepted VH Series.

Rockford Illinois. Bokö presents its new Universal Vertical Horizontal Boring and Milling Machine, Model VH2/10 with a working maximum range of 59" x 39" x 43" and a maximum table load of 7700 lb. This new machine consists of Bed-type design with cross slide, single column, fork-type milling head, infinitely variable AC-drives for milling spindle and feed drives, electro-hydraulic drawbar, automatic central lubrication, and oil-cooler for main spindle gear box. All major machine parts are of cast iron construction to absorb all vibrations. Machine is available with copy and/or digitizing control.

The machine is ideally suited for the manufacturing of pattern, molds, for universal milling and boring operations, for prototype work, for turbine and engine parts. The combination of the 2-axis swivellable milling head with the CNC rotary table makes 5-sided and circumferential machining easily possible. The milling spindle can be tilted from vertical to horizontal and in increments of 2.5° to all resulting angles. By tilting the milling spindle, collisions may be avoided even with short tools, better cutting conditions can be achieved for ball-nose cutters and inclined surfaces can be milled.
